EAST LANSING — Madre London headed back to South Florida at the conclusion of Michigan State’s “Bottom Line” summer conditioning program nearly two weeks ago, the team turned loose for a short break before having to report back this Friday.
The bottom line for London, however, was that the end of July would be no break.
“Madre came back down here to work with me for about 10 days,” said renowned speed training coach Tony Sands, a record-setting tailback at Kansas during his playing days. “Madre said he never wanted to get caught from behind again, and I told him that would be the difference between becoming an All-Big Ten type of player.”
